Q) Selection of Rescue Trained Persons for Posting at Rescue Stations: – (1) After coming into force of these rules the rescue trained persons for posting at a rescue station shall be selected, from amongst the rescue trained persons employed in mines served by the rescue station, by the Superintend in consultation with the Manager of such mines. A person selected shall be posted for ______and ____at a rescue station at any one time.

  4. 4 years practical experience of below ground work in mines;
  5. 3 years practical experience of below ground work in mines;

Q) Qualifications, experience etc. of Rescue Room In charge: – No person shall be appointed as rescue room in charge unless he: –

  1. is a rescue trained person;
  2. has 3 years practical experience of below ground work in mines;
  3. Holds a manager’s, over man’s or Foreman’s Certificate of a type not restricted to open cast workings.
