Q) Selection of Rescue Trained Persons for posting at Rescue Stations: – After coming into force of these rules the rescue trained persons for posting at a rescue station shall be selected, from amongst the rescue trained persons employed in mines served by the rescue station, by the ________in consultation with the _____of such mines.

Q) Qualifications, experience etc. of Rescue Room In charge: – No person shall be appointed as Rescue Room In charge unless he: –

  1. 1-year practical experience of below ground work in mines;

  3. 5 years practical experience of below ground work in mines;
  4. 4 years practical experience of below ground work in mines;
  5. 3 years practical experience of below ground work in mines;

3 years practical experience of below ground work in mines;

Q) Qualifications, experience etc. of Rescue Room In charge: – No person shall be appointed as rescue room in charge unless he: –

  1. is a rescue trained person;
  2. has 3 years practical experience of below ground work in mines;
  3. Holds a manager’s, over man’s or Foreman’s Certificate of a type not restricted to open cast workings.

Q) Equipment’s: – At every Rescue Station there shall be provided and maintained for immediate use, apparatus and equipment as specified in___.

Q) The following apparatus and equipment’s provided in pursuance of rescue shall be of a type or standard approved by the _______namely: – (a) Breathing apparatus; (b) Smoke helmets and apparatus serving the same purpose; (c) Reviving apparatus; (d) Electric safety lamps and flame safety lamps; (e) Gas detector; and (f) Self rescuers.
