All persons engaged @ any work within the mine premises through the contractors have received relevant training & other job-related briefings & that drivers of vehicles belonging to contractors entering the mine premises have additionally be explained the Salient Provision of Traffic Rules.

For such small mines it is suggested that an Association of small operators create common facilities & infrastructure for Occupational Health Services. Creation of such facilities is specially needed for Asbestos, Manganese & Mica Mines. 

Employers Responsibility Ensure that contracts should preferably of Longer Period 3 years so that there is adequate scope of management of safety by the contractor.

Before the valid pass is issued for entry of trucks & other vehicle not belonging to the management into the mine the Mine engineer should check the road worthiness of such vehicles.

As per 11th National Safety Conference Time Bound Programme is to be made which should be decided in a Tripartite Committee @ Company Level
